Details

Rich, mouth-filling and spicy with apple pie, fresh pear and honey notes on the nose, the Lawson's Dry Hills Pioneer Pinot Gris 2017 is a true gem for wine enthusiasts who appreciate the craft of family-owned wineries. The Lawson family has been producing wine in the Marlborough region of New Zealand for over 25 years, and their passion for traditional winemaking shines through in every bottle.

The Pioneer Pinot Gris 2017 is a testament to the family's commitment to sustainability and quality. The grapes are handpicked and carefully selected, and the wine is aged in French oak barrels for added complexity and depth. The result is a characterful wine with lovely texture, rich, intense flavours and a sliver of sweetness which is balanced by a gentle acidity.

This wine is perfect for pairing with a variety of dishes, from spicy Asian cuisine to creamy pasta dishes. The apple and pear notes make it a great match for roasted pork or chicken, while the spicy undertones complement the flavours of a hearty curry.

Highlights:
- Produced by a family-owned winery with over 25 years of experience
- Handpicked grapes and traditional winemaking techniques
- Aged in French oak barrels for added complexity and depth
- Rich, intense flavours with a sliver of sweetness and gentle acidity
- Perfect for pairing with a variety of dishes, from spicy Asian cuisine to creamy pasta dishes
