Primitivo, with its lengthy and controversial history, is grown across the world and known as Zinfandel in the USA. It's a delicious grape (a firm favourite among the Wine Central team!) and the wines produced, regardless of where they're from, boast great value for money. With dark berry and strawberry flavours then sweet tobacco, exotic undertones, Primitivo is a journey to drink as flavours unravel on the palate.
