Winemaker John Quarisa lives by the motto, "Don't take life too seriously," and his expertise shines in the Johnny Q range, reflecting his zest for life. Perfect for joyful moments with friends and family, this wine is your companion to good times and laughter.

Sometimes, the most wonderful creations emerge from random, happy hybrids. Take the cross-pollination of Peloursin and Syrah wines, which French botanist François Durif discovered. He produced a delicious new grape variety worthy of his own name: Durif, also known as Petite Sirah.

From selected vineyards in New South Wales, winemaker John Quarisa used a mixture of oak barrels and steel tanks to ferment different batches, fermenting dry and then blending for the optimal balance of fruit and oak.

Deep red with purple hues, the nose is intense and youthful, with fresh, ripe blackberries and blackcurrants with well-integrated oak vanilla. Opulent and sweet-fruited on the palate, this is trademark Johnny Q, bursting with those sweet berry flavours and lashings of vanilla, raisin, cedar and coffee.

14.7% ABV.
