But don't let the quirky name fool you, this wine is a serious contender. The nose is lively and vibrant, with plenty of dark berry fruits, particularly blueberries and boysenberries. There are also some lifted notes of dried cherries and tamarillo, as well as beetroot juice freshness. On the palate, you'll find plenty of spice, including cinnamon sticks and star anise, with some vanilla bean generosity and richness. The tannins are mouthcoating and lengthy, with a fragrant finish.
