One sunny day, while enjoying a few beerzies, three Marlborough-based winemakers came together to embark on a unique venture—creating wines under the singular brand, Vandal. This "side project" grants each member the freedom to craft wines that may veer into unconventional territory, but rest assured, at the core of the Vandal ethos is the commitment to making wines that are incredibly enjoyable and easy to appreciate.

Vandal's playful creation, "Pet Bat," is a vegan, organic, and natural-style "pet-nat" wine from Marlborough. Crafted with Chardonnay, Muscat Blanc, and Müller-Thurgau. The "Pet Bat" embodies the Vandal ethos – fun, funky, and refreshing. Aromas of stone fruit, melon, and yeasty biscuit notes lead to a creamy texture and vibrant acidity on the palate. Don't take it too seriously; just savour its deliciousness! It also comes with a glow-in-the-dark label for added fun.
