Trinity Hill Single Vineyard Prison Block Cab Sauv 2020
Trust your Taste
Cassis and ripe blackcurrant meet cedar, liquorice and cocoa in this concentrated Gimblett Gravels Cabernet. Plentiful ripe tannins give it a firm, defined shape, balanced by fresh acidity and a long finish. Try it when you want a serious, structured red for a savoury meal.

How this wine feels
Expect a dense mouthful with a clear drying grip from the tannins. The fruit is concentrated, but structure and freshness are just as noticeable. Cedar and cocoa add a savoury edge, so this will appeal most if you enjoy a firm, lasting finish.
The sliders show how strongly each characteristic comes through. Higher does not mean better.
How much presence and firmness the wine has in your mouth.
The drying, gripping feeling on your gums.
The fresh, mouth-watering edge of the wine.
Bitter, herbal or savoury character beyond the fruit.
How smooth and rounded the wine feels.
Ripe fruit character. This is not a sugar-sweetness rating.
Ripe fruit flavours can be present in dry wines. Sweet-Fruit Expression describes fruit character, not residual sugar.
