San Marzano Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria D.O.P 2018

Deep ruby red in the glass with ample and complex fruity aromas underpinned with hints of plum, cherry jam and tobacco. This 100% Primitivo is full-bodied wine yet rounded off with soft and rich tannins. The finish is lengthy offering notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla.

From very old vineyards selected in the area of San Marzano and Sava where the soil is finely textured with residual red soil and calcareous subsoil, sparse rocky outcrops and intense presence of iron oxides.

Aged in French and American oak barriques for 12 months.
