Behind the bottle
From a north-west-facing site at Mud House’s Woolshed Vineyard in the upper Wairau Valley, below the Delta Dam.
Hand-picked fruit was cold-soaked for a week, fermented with indigenous yeast, then matured in new and older French oak for 12 months with natural malolactic fermentation.
