Dedication to the diversity of Burgundy has always been the sole focus and vocation of Maison Joseph Drouhin, as vineyards - mostly premier and grand crus - were acquired in all major areas. From its very beginning, Maison Joseph Drouhin has aimed for an ideal of perfection and elegance. The style of Joseph Drouhin combines balance, harmony and character, providing infinite pleasure.

Introducing the Joseph Drouhin Santenay Rouge 2019, a real 'terroir' wine that embodies the essence of Burgundy. Crafted by a family-owned winery with a rich heritage, this wine is a testament to the traditional winemaking process that has been passed down through generations.

The Joseph Drouhin Santenay Rouge 2019 boasts a deep ruby color and an intense nose of wild fruit, including blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry. While often tannic in its youth, this wine is long and persistent on the palate, with flavors reminiscent of grenadine syrup or pomegranate.

At Maison Joseph Drouhin, sustainability and quality are at the forefront of their winemaking process. They believe in preserving the land and its resources for future generations, which is why they practice sustainable viticulture and use organic and biodynamic methods whenever possible.

This wine pairs perfectly with a variety of dishes, including roasted meats, game, and strong cheeses. Its bold flavors and tannins make it an excellent choice for hearty meals and special occasions.
