Hailing from St Laurent, France, this Pinot Noir offers a palate rich in red cherries, dried raspberries, desiccated plums, and soft clay soil with earthy nuances. Complexity emerges from hints of dried leaves and English tea. Dry and distinctly French, it showcases finer yet firm textured tannins, ample acidity, and core flavours reflecting the bouquet. Translucent garnet in colour, the nose is elegant, emphasising candied cherry, autumnal undergrowth, and subtle mocha and toast notes. The mouthfeel is round, ample, and fresh, transitioning from a fine, airy substance to increased density and chewiness. The aromatic nose lingers on the palate, with more pronounced toasted elements. The finish features a delicate, chalky chew, blending with coffee and caramel bitters. Ready for enjoyment from purchase until 2026.
