Born in the Rhône Valley, Jean Marie Calvet guided the family's wine odyssey across France. Venturing into Vacqueyras, a French AOC nestled along the River Ouvèze in the southern Rhône, the region primarily produces red wines, with some noteworthy white and rosé varieties.

Considered a younger sibling to the esteemed Châteauneuf-du-Pape and arguably Gigondas, Vacqueyras carries a moderate prestige, capable of delivering gratifying results with careful treatment.

This wine, a harmonious blend of Grenache and Syrah, epitomizes the Rhône Valley's finest attributes. Grenache contributes a juicy, fruit-forward quality, while Syrah introduces depth, spice, and structural integrity.
