French negociant Calvet sources grapes from all over France which are then vinified and bottled under their own name. Bordeaux, Burgundy, and the Rhone are just a few of the regions they work in, and their wines are known to be great, entry level, expressions of these famous terroir. The 2018 Pinot Noir from Burgundy is bright ruby in colour, with notes of red cherry, sweet blackcurrants, and vanilla. Its easy drinking with a long and balanced finish. Throw a couple of bottles on the dinner table and enjoy with friends.
