Black Collar is a well-established New Zealand brand, crafting premium spirits since 2017. Located on the outskirts of Kerikeri in the Winterless North, they have a strong focus on rum production and are among the few New Zealand distilleries that handle the entire process in-house, from fermentation to distillation and aging in oak. Their award-winning gin offers a contemporary twist inspired by the Bay of Islands.

At Black Collar, they take pride in crafting spirits with character, complexity, and charm. Their commitment extends to the environment, as they exclusively use sustainably grown sugarcane for all their spirit production. Whether it's Black Collar Vodka, Gin, or Rum, you can count on these spirits being made from natural and sustainable sugarcane.

There's nothing artificial in our Black Collar Spiced Rum. It's simply rum, natural spices and aged at our distillery. Black Collar Rum is spiced with vanilla, cinnamon, orange peel, cloves and aged in French Oak. This produces a spiced rum that is full of natural flavour, which works perfectly in classic cocktails with a spiced rum twist. Daiquiris, Old Fashioned and Mojitos are transformed with Black Collar Spiced Rum, adding another layer of flavour notes you'll enjoy.
