Trinity Hill Hawkes Bay The Trinity 2021
Trust your Taste
Cherry, plum and blackberry are lifted by a violet-like perfume in this Hawke’s Bay red blend. Merlot brings a supple feel, while Cabernet Franc adds fragrance and detail. Try it when you want a soft, flavourful red that is easy to pair with dinner.

This suits you if you enjoy supple reds with plum, cherry and a little floral lift.

How this wine feels
The tannins feel gentle and integrated, with rounded fruit carrying the middle of the palate. There is enough structure to give the wine shape, but it remains supple and comfortable. Fruit and fragrance take the lead rather than a strongly drying finish.
The sliders show how strongly each characteristic comes through. Higher does not mean better.
How much presence and firmness the wine has in your mouth.
The drying, gripping feeling on your gums.
The fresh, mouth-watering edge of the wine.
Bitter, herbal or savoury character beyond the fruit.
How smooth and rounded the wine feels.
Ripe fruit character. This is not a sugar-sweetness rating.
Ripe fruit flavours can be present in dry wines. Sweet-Fruit Expression describes fruit character, not residual sugar.
Behind the bottle
A Hawke’s Bay blend led by 63% Merlot and 16% Cabernet Franc from Gimblett Gravels and Moteo Pa sites.
Separate parcels received gentle pump-overs and extended skin contact to soften tannins before tank ageing and blending.
