Banfi

Centred in Italy silently resting in wood, the great wines of Banfi, principally reds, are evolving and refining their distinctive characteristics and taste. With over seven thousand unique barrels in the heart of Banfi, their wines are beautifully aged; known for their strength and elegance. 

Using intimate knowledge and continuous research of unique terroirs, Banfi wines continually intertwine traditional and innovative techniques to bring you the most high-quality sip. The Montalcino and Chianti vineyards are renowned for their wines of great character and premium quality, centred in Italy they ship internationally to over 90 countries.  Banfi are award-winning and extensivity known for their sustainable ambitions, ethical standing and groundbreaking research. They deliver more organic wines that are low in sulphates and histamines. As well as being socially responsible, they hold their family legacy high, with the founder's granddaughter Cristina Mariani-May taking the lead as president and CEO. 

Based now in Banfi’s world headquarters is a 60-room Elizabethan manor, located in old Brookville Newyork. With this Italian-American heritage, they specialise in sparkling wines known today as Piemonte. Banfi was also awarded the Wine Enthusiast Magazine Lifetime Achievement Award, showing us a display of commitment and respect, not only to the legacy and story of Banfi wines but also from the land and the people that contribute so greatly to a captivating final sip.
