Ant Moore

Within the most dynamic climates of Marlborough in each of the sub-regions of the Awatere, Waihopai and Wairau Valleys,  you may have heard of Ant Moore Wines. A self-established estate that has grown into a passionate winemaking family. Ant converted a number of bare terrains into vineyards and built-up a winery and a number of successful wine brands. Ant Moore’s down to earth and committed approach means he has hands in every aspect of the process.

The soil and stone create unique vines that are distinctive to the Marlborough region. With clear skies and warm weather, the vines are quick to ripen and produce very fruit-driven wines. With these perfect conditions, Ant and his team are meticulously crafting a mix of science and art.

As a winery, they are not afraid to push boundaries. Combining a vast array of brilliant and fruity flavours from a blend of numerous terroirs, delivering a complex and fresh palate. Using an old-world approach, Ants takes part in the harvesting and processing of his wines, hand plunging, blending and tasting every step of the way, with small-batch fermentation to ensure quality and consistency in every sip.

They use creativity and innovation to create blends of interest and to Ant Moore, this is what its all about; constantly learning and enjoying the creative expression that is making wine. Ant Moore Wines produce Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling,  Pinot Gris and a Pinot Noir made from Central Otago fruit.
