Details

One sip, and you're transported to the Bay of Angels in Nice, guided by the soft glow of a lighthouse. This isn't just a bottle of wine; it's a Mediterranean adventure in a glass.

The Color and Aroma: A Symphony for the Senses

This Rosé is a visual stunner, boasting a pale, almost ethereal pink hue. But don't let its delicate appearance fool you. The aroma is a heady mix of red fruits like raspberry, mingled with the soft whispers of peach and white blossoms. It's like catching the scent of a summer garden in full bloom.

The Taste: Where Terroir Meets Your Palate

Take a sip, and you'll instantly recognize the unique terroir of its origin. The soil, a blend of calcareous clay, and the vineyards' lofty altitude of 250 meters, contribute to a taste that's both fresh and balanced. The finish? A mineral, saline touch that leaves a lasting impression, like the final notes of a well-played symphony.

The Craftsmanship: A Labor of Love

Harvested mostly in the cool morning air, the grapes—Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah—are treated with the utmost care. While Cinsault and Grenache are pressed directly, the Syrah undergoes the saignée method, adding an extra layer of complexity. Aged for three months on fine lees and stirred gently, this wine is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship.

Food Pairing: Elevate Your Culinary Experience

Imagine savoring this Rosé as an aperitif or alongside a platter of seafood hors d'oeuvres. It's a match made in heaven with raw veggies dipped in a black olive tapenade. And if you're in the mood for something heartier, try it with Provençal-style stuffed vegetables or fish drizzled with olive oil. Serving temperature? A cool 12°C to let the flavors truly shine.

So go ahead, uncork a bottle of Maison Fortant Rosé 2021 and let your palate set sail on a journey of discovery
