Details

Shepherd Neame is an English independent brewery in Faversham, Kent, with a rich history spanning over 300 years. Although officially established in 1698, records indicate commercial brewing on the site as far back as 1573. Throughout its existence, ownership has seamlessly passed through five families since the 16th century. Specialising in cask ales and filtered beers, the brewery boasts an annual production of approximately 180,000 brewers' barrels.

2x Shepherd Neame IPA 500ml. A glorious showcase of the distinct, heavily hopped beers Shepherd Neame is famed for, India Pale Ale delivers potent bitterness, offset with generous amounts of pale ale malt to deliver a balanced yet uncompromising brew.

6.1% ABV.

2x Shepherd Neame Bishop's Finger Ale 500ml. "It takes its name from the finger-shaped signposts which pointed pilgrims on their way to the tomb of Thomas a Becket in Canterbury and was the first strong ale to be brewed by Shepherd Neame after malt rationing was eased in the late 1950s. It is also one of the UK's oldest bottled beers, brewed since 1958.

Bishops Finger holds EU Protected Geographical Indication, recognising its unique provenance. Uniquely, it is brewed to a charter which states it can only be brewed by the head brewer on a Friday and that it must be brewed using 100% natural ingredients, Kentish hops and barley, and the brewery's own artesian mineral water." - Shepherd Neame

Silver Medal Daily Telegraph Taste of Britain Awards

5.4% ABV.

2x Shepherd Neame Spitfire Amber Kentish Ale 500ml. More than a beer, it is a tribute to history and a celebration of Kentish brewing traditions. First brewed in 1990 for the Battle of Britain's 50th anniversary, this classic offers an immersive experience, carrying the true taste of Kent in every sip. Brewed with 100% Kentish hops, premium malt, and pure well water, it features notes of bitter orange marmalade, sweet biscuits, and caramel malts, concluding with a peppery dry finish.
