Founded in 1992 by Paul Theakston, Black Sheep Brewery is a symbol of independence in the brewing world. Born from Paul's decision to leave his family's brewery and establish his own in Masham, Yorkshire, the brewery stands in an old maltings, using equipment sourced from traditional breweries. Black Sheep's award-winning range combines classic and modern styles, reflecting a commitment to innovation while staying true to its traditional roots. With a diverse cask, keg, bottle, can, and mini-keg offering, Black Sheep continues to brew exceptional beers, championing independence and family involvement, with Paul's sons, Rob and Jo, actively contributing to daily operations.
2x Black Sheep Riggwelter Strong Ale 500ml. A real showcase of hops, malt and yeast. Layers of chocolate and coffee are most prominent, with dark fruits offering a sweet balance against the bitter-roasted flavours. Our in-house strain of yeast provides more fruity esters, including freshly peeled banana.
5.9% ABV.
2x Black Sheep Milk Stout 500ml Bottle. A velvet, creamy stout packing notes of chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Brewed with lactose and a robust malt blend, this milk stout offers a satisfying sweetness that cuts against a light bitterness, brought together through an irresistible velvet texture.
4.4% ABV.
2x Black Sheep Monty Python Holy Grail 500ml. A cult classic and the official beer of the Monty Python team. This brilliant and bold beer was created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of one of the UK's finest comedic exports 'the Monty Python Crew'! Years later, the Holy Grail is still going strong. With more hops than a killer rabbit, it's a full-flavoured golden ale with a distinctively fruity flavour followed by the Black Sheep signature dry finish. Be warned, this beer has been tempered over burning witches! Only joking.

- Pricing For 1-12 bottles, shipping is $6.99 for Auckland, $8.99 for the North Island and $11.99 for the South Island. For 13 or more bottles, shipping is $11.99 for Auckland, $14.99 for the North Island and $17.99 for the South Island.
- Timing We estimate delivery to be up to 3-4 working days for urban NZ addresses, and up to 5 working days for rural delivery.
- Click and collect is available from our Albany warehouse shop.
- We do not ship outside of New Zealand.
- We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes. Delivery is via NZ Couriers.
Returns
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the ‘Complete Orders’ link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.
