Welcome to the world of Shingleback D Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, a limited release wine that is the epitome of varietal intensity and structure. This wine is crafted from the finest Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from the Shingleback & Petrucci Vineyards, and is a testament to the winery's commitment to quality and sustainability.

At Shingleback, winemaking is a family affair, with a rich heritage that dates back to the early 1800s. The winery is located in the heart of McLaren Vale, South Australia, and is known for its traditional winemaking process that emphasizes the use of sustainable practices and the preservation of the land.

The Shingleback D Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 is a true reflection of this philosophy, with a long, slow maturation process that takes place in very fine grained French oak hogsheads. This allows for subtle oak integration and a harmonious balance of fruit power and complexity.

When the maturation and oak integration are perfect, individual barrels are selected and blended to create the final product. The result is a wine that is rich and full-bodied, with notes of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and a hint of tobacco. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing a long and satisfying finish.

This wine pairs perfectly with a range of dishes, including grilled meats, hearty stews, and strong cheeses. It is best enjoyed with good company and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
