Details

Over a century ago, Don Melchor, the founder of Concha y Toro winery, created a legend that lives on today. When he discovered his finest wines were missing, he spread the word amongst the local villagers that the devil lived in his cellar. From that day, the wine has been known as Casillero del Diablo, the devil's cellar. And the wine thieves remain deterred.

Introducing the Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, a deep and intense ruby red wine that perfectly represents the Valle Central and its richness in fruit such as cherries and plums. This wine is medium-bodied with silky tannins and a long, ripe fruit and berry aftertaste, with an impressive balance of fruit and polished tannins.

At Concha y Toro, the traditional winemaking process is at the heart of everything they do. The winery's heritage and story are woven into every bottle, making each sip a journey through time and tradition. Sustainability and quality are also key values for the winery, ensuring that every bottle is crafted with care and respect for the environment.

Pair this Cabernet Sauvignon with red meats, well-seasoned dishes, and aged cheeses such as Gruyere or blue. The wine's expression of cassis and barrel aging length thanks to the toast and coffee notes make it the perfect complement to a hearty meal or a cozy night in.

As a family-owned winery, Concha y Toro values community and craft. By choosing this wine, you're not just supporting a smaller winery, but also becoming a part of their story and tradition.
