Meaning 'pine black' in French, Pinot Noir is grown across the world and dates back to the middle ages. It is notable for its light body and fruit flavours and as much as it's enjoyed among drinkers, growers aren't as fond of it. It grows in clumps and is therefore susceptible to rot and other hazards, so be sure to be thankful that Pinot Noir has been able to make it to your glass at all!

Te Muna Valley THE FALCON Martinborough Pinot Noir 2020 Unveil the mysteries of the Te Muna Valley with The Falcon Pinot Noir. Nestled just a short journey from Martinborough village, this wine paints a portrait of the rich tapestry of the Wairarapa region, and the 2020 vintage is exceptionally good. Crafted meticulously by the hands of winemaker Simon Groves for Te Muna Winery and with the vision of owners Colin Carruthers and Deborah Coddington, this wine is a testament to dedication and passion.

Arrogant Frog Lily Pad Pinot Noir 2022 is a lovely example of a French Pinot Noir. Elegant and complex, it expresses aromas of strawberry, undergrowth, cherry to black, and sweet spices relayed by notes of vanilla. Well balanced. Long and complex finale. Vegan Friendly.

Duck Point Central Otago Pinot Noir 2020 Duck Point sources grapes from around the region, to craft easy drinking and fresh expressions of Pinot – cherry, raspberry and a hint of vanilla are to be expected. With this met by spiced fruit flavours the Pinot is creamy yet fresh. There are soft tannins and an easy acidity. Harvested at night to retain the freshness, fermented with Burgundian strain yeasts and then aged for 9 months in French oak before release, drink now and enjoy

Tempest Cove Pinot Noir 2020 (Waipara, NZ) Exclusively produced for United Cellars from vineyards in the northern Wairarapa. You can expect scrumptious cherry and plum fruit characters are complemented on the nose by spicy, toasty oak.
