Ready to pop open a bottle that's as rich in history as it is in flavor? Let's dive into the "Gran Gala" Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC, a sparkling red that's a true Emilia Romagna gem.

Appellation & Region: A DOC Delight

This Lambrusco hails from the Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC in Emilia Romagna, a region renowned for its culinary and vinicultural excellence.

Producer: A Legacy of Quality

Produced by CHIARLI 1860, the oldest Lambrusco producer in Emilia Romagna, this wine is a testament to over 150 years of winemaking expertise. Through meticulous grape selection and scrupulous care at every production stage, CHIARLI guarantees a range of prestigious wines that are the pride of Emilia-Romagna.

Characteristics: A Fruity Froth

Pour a glass, and you'll be greeted by a semi-sweet wine with an intensely red color and a lively, fading froth of strong rosé. The aroma? Think vinous and fruity, a bouquet that promises a delightful sip.

Alcohol Content & Grape Variety: A Light Sip

With an alcohol content of just 8% vol., this Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro is a lighter option that doesn't skimp on flavor.

Vinification: Crafted with Care

The grapes undergo traditional pressing and a 36-hour long maceration. Fermentation takes place at 18°-20°C, followed by a second fermentation in "cuves closes" to achieve that signature sparkle.

Serving Temperature: Keep It Cool

For the best experience, serve this Lambrusco at a cool 10°-12°C. Trust us, the temperature makes all the difference.

Accompaniments: A Culinary Companion

This wine is a perfect match for traditional Emilia cuisine and puddings in general. Imagine sipping it alongside a plate of tortellini or a decadent tiramisu.

So, are you ready to uncork this Emilia Romagna classic? Here's to the joy of discovery, the freedom to explore your own palate, and the sheer pleasure of savoring a wine that's as historic as it is delicious. Salute
