Potiki, meaning 'last born' in Maori, is a testament to the newest additions to Ata Rangi's vineyard. This family-owned winery, located in the heart of Martinborough Terrace, has been producing award-winning wines for over 40 years. Ata Rangi's commitment to sustainability and quality is evident in every bottle, and the Potiki Chardonnay 2022 is no exception.

Crafted using traditional winemaking techniques, the Potiki Chardonnay 2022 is a vibrant and engaging wine that showcases the unique characteristics of the Martinborough Terrace. The younger vines used in this blend are more reactive to vintage conditions, resulting in a wine that is both complex and nuanced.

On the nose, the Potiki Chardonnay 2022 boasts aromas of white peach, nectarine, and citrus blossom. On the palate, flavours of lemon curd, toasted almond, and a hint of vanilla are balanced by a bright acidity and a long, mineral finish. This wine pairs perfectly with seafood, roasted chicken, or a creamy pasta dish.

Ata Rangi's commitment to sustainability is evident in every aspect of their winemaking process. From their use of organic and biodynamic practices in the vineyard to their minimal intervention approach in the cellar, Ata Rangi is dedicated to producing wines that are not only delicious but also environmentally responsible.
