"This classic southern French blend comes from the vast Languedoc wine region, which winds its way around the Mediterranean coast north of Spain to Provence. Pronounced blackcurrant flavours highlight the strength of Cabernet’s characterful presence in this southern French blend. It’s dry with a medium body and moderate finish. An accessibly medium bodied red wine from the Pays d’Oc in southern France." - 3.5/5 Stars, Joelle Thomson, Wine Writer

"Approved by MWs and The Wine Advocate alike. Ripe, full bodied red from the South of France, crafted by an absolute maverick of the region, Thierry Boudinaud, who has been making wine in the area for over 30 years. La Grand Tour is a label often praised by Robert Parkers, The Wine Advocate and some of our own MWs. Most notably Bob Campbell who called it fresh and appealing...an attractive wine at an even more attractive price. The Cabernet and Merlot are sourced from different areas around Montpellier, fermented and then given some good time in oak before being released. Its filled with dark red berries, cinnamon and clove with notes of thyme on the finish. If your looking for a well-crafted French red at a great price, this is the one you need." - Wine Central Tasting Panel

From Languedoc in the South of France comes a Cabernet blend with New World flair. Comparably more brighter and juicier in style than what you'd usually find around here, with a fruit forward character thanks to minimal time spent on oak.

Thierry Boudinaud, a celebrated winemaker in the South of France, lets the fruit shine here and has created a silky smooth quaffer that's packed with flavour and attractive to the fruit-hungry New World drinkers!

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit Modern and friendly, this is a charming Bordeaux-blend from Languedoc-Roussillon showing fragrant aromas of dark plum, blueberry, floral and roasted beet. The palate delivers lovely juicy fruit intensity and silky texture, nicely supported by fine tannins. Flavoursome and approachable. At its best: now to 2019.
