Most Wanted Pinot Grigio NV A fizz with a bit more oomph, there’s typical Pinot Grigio notes like Anjou pear, green apple, and rock melon, alongside hints of jasmine and lemon. Try it as an aperitif or served alongside fruity desserts like a stone fruit tart or pavlova!
Oro Italiano Pinot Grigio dele Venezie DOC 2020 (Veneto) Typical Italian Pinot Grigio, brimming with pear and lemon and finishing crisp and dry. Pinot Grigio is grown through northern Italy, its little, purple tinged grapes easy to spot amongst some of the most famous vineyards in the region. It is often picked slightly earlier to ensure the grapes and subsequent wine maintains its natural acidity. The team at Oro Italiano are masters at crafting medium bodied Pinot Grigios that are full of flavour and the 2020 is a great example of this. Serve alongside a seafood risotto for an out of this world match. Drink now.
Villa Cardini Sangiovese 2018 (Puglia) This is a beautifully balanced wine with great harmony between the tannin, fruit and acid. Cerise in colour and a nose of aromatic berry fruits and refined plum notes. Perfect with pasta and lighter meats.
Signore Giuseppe Bardolino DOCG 2019 (Verona) A light, ruby-red coloured Bardolino that has a powerful bouquet with notes of black pepper and marasca cherry. A delicate a fresh taste on the palate with plum notes. Ideally served with Risotti, pasta courses with meat sauces and fowl. The grapes originated from Botter Spa, located in the Veneto region, 30 km north-east of Venice.
Rock Wines I Have a Dream Sangiovese Toscana IGT 2019 (Tuscany) It is a wine typical of the region, smooth but powerful and with notes of dark bramble berries, spice, and dried herb. Drink now!
Grand Maestro Italiano Governo All'Uso Toscano IGT 2018 (Puglia) The winemakers at Grand Maestro use a technique known locally as 'Governo' when creating their bottles of Toscano Rosso. This involves leaving some of the grapes to partially dry, before they are added into the vat of fermenting grapes, helping to complete fermentation. This gives the resulting drop notes of rich dried fruit like currants and prunes, increasing its intensity and leading to a fuller body.
