Is roast on the menu tonight? If so, Chateau Alexandre should be too! Its medium-full bodied, well rounded and its subtle black and red fruit aromas make it a match made in heaven for any roast. The vineyards are in the Entre- Deux-Mers region on a sunny hillside overlooking the area. While everything is kept traditional in terms of vineyard management, there’s been some modernisation in the cellars allowing the wines to age for longer. Its equal parts Cab Sauv and Merlot, with a small amount of Malbec and Carmenere for body and spice. Try it today or keep for a few more years.

Serve with roasted chicken, grilled lamb, rabbit stew or cheese.

Chateau Alexandre is a family estate since 1964. It is located in the Entre Deux Mers region. The vineyard, situated at 100 meters in height, dominates all the Garonne valley. This position allows a natural drainage of the soil. Orientated South/Southeast, the vines benefits from long sunshine exposure. This condition is perfect for the maturity and healthy ripeness of the grapes. The terroir of the Ch ateau is ideally suited for the culture of vines. The blend between the different grapes varieties allows the production of a wine with a good ageing capacity. To produce a good wine, the owners respect the traditional viticultural methods. The cellars were modernised to improve the quality of the wine. Thanks to these new equipments, the wines of Chateau Alexandre reveals all the potential of their rich terroir.
