Voluptuous Viognier. The south of France is home to many well-known wineries dotted along the coast. Domaine de Sainte Cecile is one of these and is recognized for both its red and white expressions, including this delicious 2020 Viognier. Think melon, apricot, and white peaches with a hint of fresh jasmine. Full bodied and well structured, it pairs well with white meats like roast chicken and pork or with any stone-fruit dessert (we like it with warm apple pie and a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!).

18/20, Wine Central Tasting Panel

4 Stars, Joelle Thomson, Wine Writer (2018 vintage) "Talk about a crowd pleaser... Viognier is one of the great white grapes of the world, originally from the Rhone Valley in France where it was on the brink of extinction in the mid 1980s when it shrank to just 32 hectares. It is now having a new lease of life both in France and further afield, as this full bodied, Mediterranean coast Viognier shows. The impressive packaging of this wine is suggestive of the promise to come in the bottle, namely, ripe peachy aromas and a fleshy, full bodied style. A decadent and delicious white."

"Viognier is known for its pronounced citrus and stonefruit characters." - Joelle Thompson, Wine Central Wine Guru

Drinks beautifully on its own or try it with asian dishes, fish in sauce or any white meat.
