Paul Jaboulet Aîné has been a pioneering force in the Rhône wine scene since its establishment in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet. The legacy continued with his twin sons, Paul and Henri, with Paul's initiative solidifying the company under its present name. Through generations, the Jaboulet family has upheld a tradition of excellence, crafting wines celebrated for their finesse and character.

Central to Jaboulet wines' renown are meticulously tended vineyards, a commitment to low yields, and the artful balance of vinification and oak aging. Notably, the family places great emphasis on the integration of oak, ensuring it complements rather than dominates the wine's profile. This dedication extends to their cooper, who is entrusted with crafting and maintaining barrels to exacting standards.

Jaboulet wines epitomize a harmonious blend of robustness and elegance, hallmarks of exceptional craftsmanship. Among their portfolio, the crown jewel shines brightest: Hermitage "La Chapelle," hailed by Clive Coates as a paragon of red wine excellence. The endorsement by Thomas Matthews of Wine Spectator further underscores Jaboulet's reputation for consistency and quality across the Rhône's diverse terroirs.

The explosively perfumed bouquet unveils layers of raspberry and mulberry preserves, incense, floral oils, and smoky minerals in a sensory journey. A bright ruby-red colour sets the stage for the experience, leading to a beautiful bouquet of cassis, violets, and floral notes. Abundant black and blue fruit interplay with delicate violet nuances on the palate, heightened by a tantalizing spiciness that imparts clarity and lift. The journey culminates in an extraordinary elegance and finesse, with a long and harmonious finish that lingers on the senses—an embodiment of Jaboulet's timeless artistry and dedication to excellence.
