Jemma will show you six different sparkling wine's that are well priced and ready to impress over the festive season.
First up is the Signore Guiseppe Prosecco at just $14.99. Lively and fresh, and ready to be the aperitif for Christmas Eve.
Onto Spain next and Jemma pours the Freixenet (fresh-net) Extra Brut NV which comes in at $10.99. Lemon, lime and pithy notes make this drop ideal for white meats or even just chips and aioli.
Then it's time for a Franciacorta. A Franciacorta is made the exact same way as Champagne but in Italy. And this particular one, the Franciacorta Zero Millesimato Contadi Castaldi 2012, is just $38.99 and will appease the palates of those who like dry, or extra brut, style bubbly.
Following that is the Medici Lambrusco Grasparossa NV and this is available at just $10.99. Pouring red in the glass, this wine is packed with red fruits and Jemma suggests you try it with a fatty pork belly. So if you're straying from turkey this year why not line up a Lambrusco?
The last three all hail from France and to kick it off the Domaine de Tholomies Cremant de Limoux NV takes centre stage. This is made the exact same way as Champagne just in a different part of the country. And at just $18.99 it's an excellent option if you need to impress.
Then onto Champagne. Jemma pours one of our imports, Veuve Bonneval, to demonstrate how to get quality Champers on a budget. At just $39.99 and packed with the toasty, brioche notes you'd expect this velvety smooth wine will sit at centre stage quite nicely.
Lastly it's one we're sure you've heard of - Piper Heidsieck Rosé Sauvage (in gift box) and you'll find this online at just $69.99. We have a feeling that Jemma quite likes this one and all the strawberries and cream goodness it presents.
