Château Laussac is a family estate. The Château is situated in the famous Bordeaux appellation. In 1995, Eric Meynaud, the current owner, takes the direction of the estate. He takes a lot of attentions at the vineyard and he decides to produce his own wine. The first vintage produced by Mr Meynaud is the 1998. This vintage was rewarded at the Concours Agricole de Paris in 1999. This medal rewards the efforts that Mr Meynaud brought to the vineyard and to the winemaking. Over the years, Mr Meynaud buys plots to constitute a homogeneous and qualitative vineyard. Currently, Château Laussac extends over 95 hectares. To produce quality wine, Mr Meynaud is assisted by an oenologist, Mr Jean-Louis Vinolo. This quality process allows tasting Château de Laussac to be regularly rewarded in national and international competitions.
